This lemon chess pie from from Oldies and Goodies: 100 Years of Memories is the perfect way to end any meal.

Recipe for Lemon Chess Pie from "Oldies and Goodies: 100 Years of Memories"

Lemon Chess Pie

  • ⅓ stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 pastry shell, uncooked

Combine butter and sugar; cream well. Add lemon juice then two eggs yolks, beaten. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour mixture into an uncooked pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes until top is golden brown.
