Richard Teague roasts chestnuts in one of the eight fireplaces inside the historic Federal style home at High Rock Farm.

High Rock Farm in Gibsonville dates back to 1807 and has served several purposes through the years. The farm’s current owner, Richard Teague, began planting chestnut trees on the property in 1991, and the business has grown from there. The orchard now hosts over 500 chestnut and 400 pecan trees.
