The New Bern Historical Society may be turning 100 years old this month, but hitting the century mark does not mean slow and doddering. In fact, this lively organization will spend a whole year in celebration with the spotlight on a special free exhibit. “Through the Looking Glass, Journey Through the Last Hundred Years” will be filled with images, artifacts, and hands-on learning encompassing the rich history of this society.
