Support small, sustainable agriculture and head to the Exposition Center at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds for a fleece-filled experience. Area farm vendors will be selling soft fleece from their locally raised Icelandic sheep, Suri alpaca, Shetland sheep, and many more available for purchase. For those interested in learning about fiber-ology, how to spin, or looking to perfect their knitting, there will be a variety of fringe workshops happening before and after the festival on March 6, 7, and 10. Check the website for more details and events.
