Ashe County’s Christmas in July festival will be opening on June 30 in downtown West Jefferson for its 35th year. A celebration of mountain heritage and the Christmas tree farming industry for which Ashe County is known, this festival invites visitors to enjoy live music, arts and crafts products, and food vendors. Visitors will even have the opportunity to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and there will be plenty of activities geared toward younger festival-goers.
