The Foothills Folk Art Festival got its start back in 2005 when it used to be held in either Hickory or Sherrills Ford. Today, the Festival is centered in downtown Newton and features the work of local and regional contemporary folk artists. After looking at the art up for sale, be sure to check out hands-on art activities for kids and artist demonstrations. This vibrant festival will feature live music, food trucks and vendors, beer gardens, and more.
