The theme for Statesville’s 2023 Juneteenth celebration is Better Together; the Statesville Juneteenth celebration began back in the 1990s. Festivities centered in downtown Statesville — in front of the historic Mitchell Community College — will include live music, local vendors, educational presentations, activities for children, and more.
