Then relax and enjoy the drive north into Idaho before arriving in the small town of West Yellowstone, Montana, for a two-night stay. This gateway town sits at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park — the country’s first national park, established in 1872. Enjoy a dinner with the group in West Yellowstone this evening.

Day 3: Yellowstone National Park
Sunday, June 8, 2025

Today, embark on a wildlife safari and tour of Yellowstone National Park with a local guide. We’ll see some of the park’s incredible wildlife, such as elk, bears, wolves, moose, sheep, bison, and bald eagles, along with many other species of birds. Yellowstone also features thundering waterfalls and more than 10,000 hydrothermal features, including geysers, natural hot springs, and mud pots — bubbling hot springs that are acidic enough to dissolve the surrounding rock. As you drive through the park, you’ll pass incredible scenery, stopping to visit Yellowstone Lake and, of course, the park’s most famous attraction: the Old Faithful geyser, which shoots a plume of steam into the sky about every 90 minutes. Enjoy time to wander, shop, or eat in this area around the historic Old Faithful Inn. Return to your hotel after this full-day Yellowstone exploration.

Meals: Breakfast
Overnight: Grey Wolf Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn, or Yellowstone Park Hotel in West Yellowstone, Montana

Day 4: Snake River Float, Jackson
Monday, June 9, 2025

Start the day in West Yellowstone with a visit to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, a chance to experience the world of grizzly bears, gray wolves, otters, and birds of prey. Many of the animals living at this wildlife park and educational facility are unable to survive in the wild, so they serve as ambassadors for their wild counterparts. After our visit, we’ll drive through Yellowstone to the park’s southern entrance and on toward Jackson, Wyoming. Outside Jackson, we’ll hop aboard a raft for a gentle float trip down the scenic Snake River, with an experienced and knowledgeable guide who will explain the area’s history, geology, and wildlife — we may even spot beavers, cutthroat trout, cliff swallows, pelicans, osprey, or bald eagles. Then it’s on to the lively cowboy town of Jackson for a two-night stay. Be sure to visit the colorful Million Dollar Cowboy Bar with its saddle-shaped barstools.

Meals: Breakfast
Overnight: Snow King or Hampton Inn in Jackson, Wyoming

Day 5: Grand Teton National Park
Tuesday, June 10, 2025

Admire more than 5,000 artistic interpretations of the wildlife you’ve witnessed — and of wild animals around the world — at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, which features 14 galleries filled with paintings, sculptures, and other works ranging from early Native American art to more contemporary pieces. Sitting on a cliff overlooking the National Elk Refuge, the museum building seems to come from the earth itself, embodying the natural beauty of its surroundings. Next, visit the spectacular Grand Teton National Park. Towering more than a mile above the valley of Jackson Hole, the Teton Mountain Range is one of the youngest ranges on the continent, rising 14,000 feet and supporting a dozen mountain glaciers. Return to Jackson for an evening at your own pace in this great Western town.

Meals: Breakfast
Overnight: Snow King or Hampton Inn in Jackson, Wyoming

Day 6: Park City, Utah
Wednesday, June 11, 2025

Today, travel to Park City, one of the most beautiful resort areas in North America and home to several events of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Visit the Utah Olympic Park and its museum filled with memorabilia from the Olympic Games, plus see a movie that features highlights from the Games. In the city center, take a stroll down Main Street and explore more than 64 historic buildings, charming shops, galleries, and boutiques. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel with your fellow travelers and new friends.
