The historic center is home to the Chiesa di San Francesco — a 14th-century church — and is the birthplace of the Limoncello liqueur. Day 8: Amalfi
Tuesday, March 30, 2027

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour of the Amalfi Coast. This region is one of Europe’s most magnificent stretches of coastline, extending from Positano in the west to Vietri sul Mare in the east. Take in its breathtaking scenery and see its glamorous resorts, hidden away on the corniche that winds its way past citrus plantations, vineyards, and tiny villages clinging to jagged cliffs that plunge straight into the sea. Continue to the town of Amalfi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its tightly packed villas and palaces seem to tumble down the cliffside into the fishing port and beach below. Amalfi was once a maritime power to rival Venice, and its golden age is symbolized by its stunning cathedral and the Piazza Duomo.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Overnight: Hotel Mary, Hotel Jaccarino, or Hotel Stabia on the Amalfi Coast

Walk through city streets on a guided visit, where you’ll discover remarkably preserved ancient architecture and artifacts that portray what daily life was like in this first-century city. Next, travel to Naples and enjoy a panoramic city tour to see the cathedral — with its treasure chapel and basilica dating back to the fourth century — the Royal Palace, the beautiful church of St. Francesco di Paula, the Town Hall Square, and more. Enjoy a pizza-making class and lunch. Arrive in Rome later today for an overnight stay.
