Day 1: Arrival
Sunday, April 11, 2027
Arrive in Phoenix, Arizona, and head to Tucson for your five-night stay. Settle in before tonight’s wine and beer reception, followed by a welcome dinner with your fellow Our State travelers at the resort.

Day 2: Tucson city tour • Pima Air & Space Museum • Mission San Xavier del Bac
Monday, April 12, 2027
Take a tour of Tucson featuring Barrio HistĂłrico — one of the finest collections of adobe homes in the Southwest — along with the historic campus of the University of Arizona. Enjoy free time for lunch and shopping at Old Town Artisans, a collection of shops and galleries located on the site of El Presidio San AgustĂn del Tucson, a 1775 Spanish fortress. Next, visit the Pima Air & Space Museum for a one-hour narrated tram tour covering 80 acres and more than 150 aircraft, with additional time to explore the exhibits and hangars. Later, visit Mission San Xavier del Bac, a National Historic Landmark known as the “White Dove of the Desert.” Founded in 1692, it’s the oldest intact European structure in Arizona, featuring original statuary and mural paintings. Return to the resort for an evening at leisure.

Day 3: Bisbee • Tombstone

Travel into Arizona’s Old West with a visit to Bisbee, a former mining town. Following the discovery of gold, lead, zinc, and copper in the nearby Mule Mountains, Bisbee became one of the largest cities between St. Louis and San Francisco in the early 1900s. Don hard hats and slickers for the Copper Queen Mine Tour, descending 1,500 feet below ground. Explore Bisbee’s colorful architecture, winding streets, and alleys before continuing to Tombstone. Walk in the footsteps of Wyatt Earp, see the site of the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and visit historic attractions like the Tombstone Courthouse and Bird Cage Theatre. Stop at Boothill Graveyard before returning to Tucson. This evening, enjoy a dinner of Southwest cuisine at a popular local restaurant.

Day 4: Old Tucson • Afternoon at leisure

Visit Old Tucson, the filming location for many famous Western movies and TV shows. Enjoy a guided tour with a local historian and stroll through the movie sets. Return to the resort for an afternoon and evening at leisure. Relax by the pool, visit the spa, take a hike, play a round of golf, or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant on your own.

Day 5: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum • Saguaro National Park
Thursday, April 15, 2027
After breakfast, visit the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum to discover more than 90 acres of exhibits, vignettes, and collections illustrating the beauty and diversity of the native environment. With 85 percent of the museum outdoors, experience more than 1,400 native plant and animal species. This afternoon, visit Saguaro National Park, home to the iconic giant saguaro cactus, a symbol of the American Southwest. Stop at the visitor center and tour the western section of the park to view large stands of saguaro cacti. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner at a favorite Tucson restaurant.

Day 6: Departure
