Now, the 76,000-square-foot roadside attraction includes a restaurant, shops, children’s attractions, and fun photo ops. Next, drive through Badlands National Park. Located between the White and Cheyenne rivers, this area contains spectacular examples of weathering and erosion, fantastic ridges and cliffs, and canyons of varying colors. George Custer and their Crow and Arikara scouts — was defeated by warriors of the Lakota Sioux, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes who sought to preserve their way of life on the Northern Plains. Later, a short ride brings you to Montana’s most populous city, Billings, for an overnight stay.

Head to Cody, Wyoming — the town named for Buffalo Bill Cody — to visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, a museum of Native American culture, natural history, and Western art.
