“Hot Light” Breakfast Sandwich

Yield: 1 serving.

1 Krispy Kreme Original Glazed® doughnut, sliced in half lengthwise
3 ounces your favorite cheese, thinly sliced
2 pieces thick-cut bacon, prepared
1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
1 egg
2 to 3 fresh sage leaves, fried

Separate doughnut halves and cover bottom half with your cheese of choice.

Grill, covered, until cheese melts.

Break bacon slices into halves and stack on melted cheese.

Grill top half of doughnut until browned and spread with mustard.

Fry egg, place on top of bacon, and carefully cover with top half of doughnut. Garnish with fried sage leaves.
