Oat Snack Mix

Oat Snack Mix

  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Melt until dissolved; drizzle over the following:

  • 4 cups Quaker Oat Squares (brown sugar and cinnamon flavored)
  • 1½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup pecans

Stir together and bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on wax paper to cool. After cooling, add:

  • ¾ cup craisens
  • ¾ cup chocolate covered raisins
  • ¾ cup chocolate covered peanuts
