Apple-Cranberry Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups raw apples, sliced (use 5-6 medium Granny Smith apples)
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cranberry sauce, with or without berries
  • 1 cup uncooked quick oatmeal
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • ⅓ cup self-rising flour
  • ½ cup broken pecans

Directions:

Mix apples and cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with white sugar. Put in a 9-x 12-inch baking dish sprayed with Pam®. To the melted margarine, add oatmeal, flour, brown sugar and pecans. Mix well and spread over apple/cranberry mixture. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. This can be frozen.
