For the crust:
1 yellow cake mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 stick margarine or butter
1 cup pecans, chopped
For the filling:
1 (1-pound) box confectioners’ sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
For the crust: Mix ingredients together, and press in the bottom of a 9-inch x 13-inch pan.
For the filling: Mix ingredients thoroughly until smooth. Pour over crust. Bake in preheated oven at 350º for 35 to 45 minutes. Cool, and cut into bars.
